Information for researchers
The FEELE Lab is located in on the Streatham Campus of the 91传媒.
The laboratory supports three experimental formats: in-person laboratory studies, online experiments, and mobile field experiments.
The FEELE Lab contains 32 networked Windows workstations and two dedicated experimenter servers. The facility also houses 30 sensor units for measuring skin conductance and heart rate, together with high-definition webcams for recording facial expressions and other behavioural data.
Researchers conducting online studies can also recruit students through the FEELE Lab participant pool.
For field-based research, the lab maintains a collection of Android tablets that can be networked via a Raspberry Pi server. This portable setup enables researchers to run oTree experiments without requiring an internet connection or mains power, making it ideal for data collection in remote locations.
The FEELE Lab operates in accordance with the ethical standards of the Economic Science Association (ESA) and the research ethics guidelines of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). All researchers using the lab must obtain appropriate ethical approval from the 91传媒 before collecting data.
91传媒 researchers outside the Business School who are interested in using the FEELE Lab should contact Miguel Fonseca or Scott Vincent for further information.
