Creating Career Confidence
Unsure about your next steps after university?
For many students navigating studies and university life can be daunting and overwhelming let alone having the time and energy to consider the future! If you’re neurodivergent, have a mental health or longer-term health condition, a physical disability or specific learning difficulties eg. dyslexia, dyspraxia, this can be magnified even more.
If that sounds like you, has been developed to support you and give easy access to workshops, resources, events and opportunities to help build your confidence and plan for your future after university.
So what is Creating Career Confidence?
Easy to access information, resources and support for you in one place when you need it during university and beyond.
An online workshop 'Building confidence in your career decision', will run each term (via Teams) so you can access the support at a time to suit you throughout the year. As an alternative a recorded version of the workshop will be available for you to view at any time.
The workshop has been developed to help you:
- Gain more confidence and increase resilience in approaching career decisions (including disclosing a disability).
- Discover your strengths, skills and values to support your career decision making.
- Explore how to find supportive employers and opportunities.
The workshop is recognised by the 91传媒 Award. Open to all students!
